I've been in here a couple times now and the food has been outstanding. Good oysters, good appetizers, and excellent seafood main entrees. The entrees really stood out to me with just the right preparation, flavors, texture, and plating/presentation. Menu seems to rotate seasonally. Respectable selection of bourbon and other whiskeys. The overall vibe of the place seems to be going for upscale ish or polished without... View all feedback.
What Cassidy D doesn't like about Peninsula Prime:
Food took a long time to come out. Was not as tasty for the price. I feel they could have done better. The chandeliers need a deep clean. They are just nasty. Waiter was nice but he could lay off the caffeine. Probably won’t come back. The chicken was the only tasty entree. We ordered the salmon and the steak as well as the chicken. We also ordered the shrimp appetizer. We were shocked to only have received 4 shrimp... View all feedback.
I haven't been here since it was Alton's which we loved. Still the same dark (dimly lit upscale feel that it always had. Atmosphere is really nice, great for a date night or solo dining for someone wanting to treat themselves. Initially, I was a little perturbed because it took almost 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge me once I was seated. Afterwards my server (Julia was very attentive and pleasant. She definitely made up for my initial wait and gave great suggestions when asked. My drink of choice was the old fashion, they have a great bourbon selection and I enjoyed my drink. My appetizer was the layered crab cake, please be aware that it comes with a fried on on top, I got mine poached medium, it was really good and a change from the norm which I found refreshing . I got the fresh wild caught salmon along with the whipped potatoes. The salmon was perfectly seasoned, as well as perfectly cooked. I truly enjoy the salmon, probably top five ever. Potatoes were just a tad salty but I really enjoyed them too (blood pressure be damned . All-in-all I would recommend giving this established a try, I found it was worth the cost.
My husband and I had our company Cocktail Party here and Linda was such a great help with helping us arrange this event helping us with our food choices and was super quick at responding. If you need help with a company event just call Prime and she will definitely be a great help! : Angela Broadway was our server and she was outstanding!! She attended to all of our agents so fast and stayed on top of everything, definitely recommend her if you have a company event that you want someone great to help you with. The food was incredible and the way they laid it out was beautiful!!! All of our agents spoke so highly of the event and loved it. They even had a front entrance set up for us outside the front door for our agents to get pictures with our company Name and Logo! We will definitely be doing our events there more frequently! The atmosphere and service and food was a 10 out of 10 for us!
Attended Peninsula Prime tonight for our 3 year anniversary. It was absolutely amazing. From the moment we were seated by our amazing host up to the end. Our host went out of her way to ensure our table was set up beautifully. Our menus designed especially for us with the word Happy Anniversary Cora’s on it. Our server Tim, also known as TJ, gave us outstanding service to say the least. He was friendly, respectful and very knowledgeable. Everyone there Acknowledged our anniversary. The dinning experience was nothing short of amazing . The food ……… to die for. I recommend the lobster. The drinks , let’s just say we will be back. Complimentary champagne for our anniversary. Icing on the cake. We have already made plans to go back. Tim we cannot thank you enough and we will see you in two weeks. You all truly made our special day memorable.

The Chef did not have to play with our hearts and stomachs the way he did! He is a God in that kitchen! Everything we ate was phenomenal, outstanding, superb, above and beyond any of my expectations. He is passionate about his food and I can tell because everything was made with love! Our lovely waitress Angela was amazing along with Anna! She felt like a best friend, she described everything on the menu in so much detail that it was hard for us to even choose. Everything sounded amazing and absolutely the food lived up to the descriptions and the hype in taste and presentation! I will 1000% return. The atmosphere was beautiful, it was inviting, the staff is amazing, and the food was out of this world! There was a party in my mouth with every bite. My delicious drink, The Royal Rose, gets an honorable mention because it made me feel like a delicate Caribbean flower. As for the food!!! We started off with the calamari, the sauce pairings were delightful, we also had the Cambridge Oyster- delicious, and the savory appetizer and the potato salad on there surprised me with how delicious it was. The Lobster tacos were crispy on the outside with a nice citrusy blended flavor on the inside! Reminded me of Ceviche DELICIOUS
