Ordered the Rip Dip with fried okra (okra $2 extra) and the Chili cheeseburger with crinkle cut fries sprinkled with seasoning salt. Chili was on the spicy side but entire dish overall was very tasty. The Rip Dip was like a French dip. Roll was fresh and crusty outside and soft inside. Meat was tender and overall a tasty sandwich. The upgraded fried okra (in place of fries) were good but even though the menu indicated they were house made , I can 't equivocally verify that. To me, they seemed not too different from boxed/frozen. But they were fried well...and not greasy. Our overall visit there was positive; staff was efficient and friendly and the restaurant was clean and designed nicely to represent an old fashioned diner. Our only suggestion would be to offer more variety (didn 't even see a hot dog on the menu) as most diners do. Maybe they scaled back because of the pandemic. An old menu from a number of years reflected more meal options.
