Two of us ordered... read more The prices here are quite high for food that is just average. The kids' menu items actually looked more appealing than those on the main menu. Two of us ordered Mulloway fish, which turned out to be tough and lacking flavor. The other two had soft shell crab, but it was heavily battered and served lukewarm. The service was decent, but nothing exceptional. As locals, we likely won't return, which is disappointing because the hotel itself is beautiful and in a fantastic location. We've tried Merretts multiple times over the years, but we've never been particularly impressed.
