Was Anonym at The Poor Relation a mag?
Absolutely fantastic experience. My partner and I stopped off here whilst doing Christmas shopping. All the bar staff and girl) greeted us like old friends. They were approachable, jovial and prompt with their service. I asked if they would show a football match on the TV, which they agreed, then started having a laugh over the team I followed this type of banter is sadly missing from Irish bars today We will return,... What Anonym dislikes about The Poor Relation:
Currently under a new manageress with the Worst Power Tripping attitude you will experience. One or 2 staff follow her rudeness. Maybe her 1st job..? Several have left this establishment over one of the worst power trippers in the trade. How long has she been there..? Great Bar for many years though and owned by a Nice Guy. View all feedback.

A traditional pub in the heart of Cork City. Well worth a visit. They often have live music. I found the volume way too loud when we were there. I don't know why bands think we want our hearing to be damaged. It takes away the enjoyment of good music.

Good example of the old-fashioned pub in Ireland. Friendly atmosphere.

Good drink as usual in Ireland. Good bands of different musical styles. The place need more visual improvements. The service is not too bad but can be better. I didn’t ordered food so I can’t tell. Good place in general. Better if you know the band that will play or go with friends.

I had no idea what to order since I rarely go to pubs, but the service was so nice and friendly that they immediately figured out what I needed. Even if you're alone, this is a nice place to stop. Thank you
