We nearly always book a table. Palmento is expensive (and prices have gone up recently) but still excellent, 5 stars.

Excellent pizza, probably t... read more My partner and I have been coming here for years. Even though we no longer live in Ireland, we make sure we come here when we visit. Excellent pizza, probably the best in the country. The menu is quite small but everything is excellent and stays consistently excellent. The pizzas are large and the dough is just right. The inside has a nice atmosphere and the staff are always friendly and helpful. You can see the pizzas being made in the oven. We usually make a reservation as they are always busy but if you arrive soon after opening, you can get a table without waiting if you're not a large group. It's also a good spot for solo diners.

Portions sizes were very generous. Range of desserts was limited but the cookie dough was delicious. Will definitely be back.
