Description

Dashi is a must-visit for anyone who loves Japanese food. The salmon-avocado temaki is a great starter, while the party platter is perfect for groups. The staff is friendly and the service is prompt. The quality of food is excellent, especially the sushi and maki rolls. The restaurant offers a nice sit-down experience in Cork City or convenient takeaway options. While some customers had minor issues with the bill or timing, the overall experience is positive. Dashi's sushi is considered some of the best in Cork, with reasonable prices and a friendly atmosphere. The chicken ramen receives mixed reviews, but the sushi remains a highlight. Dashi is probably the place I miss the most after moving away from Cork a few years ago! My memories are of super-fresh sushi and an incredibly good selection of rolls, with always a new special of the day to try! I have visited Dashi many times and I was never, ever disappointed.

Delicious food. There’s a place where you order and pay inside the entrance to the restaurant. There’s a selection of sushi also that you can order and pay for per piece, ie crab sushi 75c per piece. Very nice and cosy inside and there’s sushi plushies you can buy too!

Visited the place just for the first time, as I saw they have a lot of great reviews, and variety of options, but unfortunately were disappointed, as many of the ingredients weren’t just included. They show in the menu that the sushi has variety of ingredients, and a lot of interesting stuff like: asparagus, chive, chilli powder, and so, but unfortunately they just used instead of the asparagus the curcumber, and we had no chives or chilli powder, although we should have had Also the trout sushi we had was half raw/and half cooked
