While visiting the English Market, we stumbled upon this charming little café. Here’s what we tried: I ordered a breakfast sandwich with egg and bacon on crunchy bread, served with a small side salad. I was thrilled that the egg was runny rather than overcooked. The bacon was thick and flavorful, and the salad was a delightful surprise with its delicious pesto and red onions. My husband went for the BLT, which featured arugula, tomatoes, bacon, and mayo, all piled on nice whole wheat bread with a generous amount of bacon. They serve Lavazza coffee and offer a tempting selection of pastries, including scones, cupcakes, lemon meringue pie, chocolate caramel squares, and various cakes.
