Feedback
Many patrons have had mixed experiences at this restaurant. Some have praised the food while others criticized the service and staff behavior. One customer highlighted a disappointing visit due to poor service and inaccurate orders, while another found the food quality to be hit or miss. However, there were positive mentions of an efficient and friendly waitress, delicious roast beef, and well-organized events. Overall, the restaurant seems to have its ups and downs, with elements that could be improved, but still, many people enjoy the atmosphere and offerings.
Excellent food and staff. Do try the chicken wings and the battered breast in a bun burger
I absolutely love Bishopstown bar, their food is delicious and portions are massive. Roast of the day is always best all staff members are pleasant and make you feel like home
My wife had the roast beef of the day..veg beef and gravy excellent the mash not good enough. I had the traditional fish and chip I'm not a lover of peas so had coleslaw and the tarter sauce with the fish which was excellent..the chips were lazy to say the least they were full of greese I mean full there was an attempt to burn it off while cooking the effects sent them flying as I used the fork not happy. Said nothing as we left our 13% tip because we were dealing with the excellent staff...
I had the most amazing meal, carvery. The staff are super cool. Great to see craft beers and cider being supported. Big shout out to Stonewell Cider lovers, I'd a non alcoholic.
We as a group meet there every Saturday before a Cork City academy home game. The welcome we have got over the last 2 years is only fantastic. All the staff go the extra mile for us. I cannot recommend them enough. Oh and the food and beverages are just as excellent. Well done to Joe and all the staff.. 5 star
