A cozy restaurant with nice staff and a warm atmosphere, serving some hit-or-miss dishes. While some diners were disappointed by bland burgers and insect encounters, others found the curry to be exceptional. The quesadillas were a letdown. However, overall, the service was praised for being attentive and professional. Despite some mixed reviews, the restaurant seems to have regulars who have been coming back for years. It may be worth a visit for the friendly ambiance and excellent service.

What HW dislikes about 14a:
Very nice staff and nice place but I didn’t like the food. We ordered a vegetarian burger and one with meat and both came without any sauce on the buns so they tasted quiet bland. The fries also didn’t have any flavour. I’ve definitely eaten better burgers but the people were really nice View all feedback.
5/5, one of my favourite restaurants in Cork. I usually come here on my lunch break and also bring friends the odd time. The menu has a great selection and I can happily say that I have never been dissatisfied with the service or food here. The service is also always amazing. Would definitely recommend 14A and will of course be returning!
Why chose this restaurant as suppose to the many other restaurants and cafes in cork? Wonderful greeting at the door. Listening to him as regulars and drop ins arrive was wonderful. The gay guy definitely have a way of letting everyone feel welcome and special. The food was great, it took some time, but is worth the wait. You’ll be able to see the chefs preparing the food and there is a nice banter between the employees. Clean restaurant and toilets.
Don't go there went there with my brothernwho has a disability he talks tow every one tried to talk to the waiter he ignored him and threw him a look when it is visiable he has a disability. My brother only likes his hot chocolate with 2 spoons of hot chocolate he asked the waiter and he siad yes came back out akd mentioned loudly is it to spoons or 2 scoops with are both the same thing mu brother was devestated of how he was treated wound not recommend going with people who have disability because they are very rude
