The food was excellent as usual. We ate outside so the view was nice as well. I'd recommend this restaurant for date night for sure.

We also had the hot crab dip. We sat outside on the roof deck. Great downtown views of Corinth.

However, the two waffles on her plate were oddly shaped and had holes in one side o... read more My partner ordered a Belgian waffle with fruit compote and warm maple syrup. However, the two waffles on her plate were oddly shaped and had holes in one side of the grid. The compote turned out to be just a few slices of fresh strawberries. I opted for the steak benedict but was initially told they were out of ingredients for the hollandaise sauce, so I chose a different dish. Shortly after, the owner/chef came over and said he could make the sauce, allowing me to revert to my original order. The steak and eggs were well cooked, but the sauce tasted more like a traditional brown gravy. Upon checking the menu, I noticed it listed mushroom sauce instead of hollandaise; that was my oversight, but I do question the waiter’s knowledge for not clarifying that it wasn't hollandaise, especially after our earlier conversation. I felt like I was eating an open-faced roast beef sandwich topped with eggs. We also ordered mimosas, which weren't on the menu, but we were surprised when the bill showed they were $15 each. My brunch partner ended up having two (yikes). The final bill came to $95.48, including a 20% suggested tip. While the rooftop view is lovely, it's unfortunate that the food didn't live up to the scenery this time. I sincerely hope this venture succeeds, but there’s still work to be done to meet my expectations. For the record, I've dined at the parent Vicari restaurant several times and have always enjoyed the food, drinks, and service there.
