Hyeholde is an excellent choice for a special occasion dinner. You’d be surprised to find out how close it is to the airport! We visited on a Friday evening, when it was...
If you're looking for unique, locally sourced food, this is the spot for you. I should also mention that the ambiance is designed with a medieval theme, making it a truly distinctive experience.
We had been wanting to dine here for years, and this week we finally got our chance. We had dinner reservations for Wednesday evening and decided to arrive a little early. We...
Hidden Gem. This place is truly a hidden gem in Pittsburgh. I call it that because 9 out of 10 people that I ask about it have never heard of it. The setting is spectacular, the food is excellent. I can't wait to go back and try a picnic basket or tea.
For our meals, we both chose the roasted wild mushroom salad and the prime fillet, which were excellent, complemented perfectly by Boursin potatoes and French green beans. For dessert, I opted for the crème brûlée, while my husband went with the chocolate cake layered with crispy peanuts and caramel sauce. I thoroughly enjoyed my dessert; however, my husband wasn't as impressed with his, describing it more as a stacked cake than a traditional cake, and it turned out to be chocolate sauce rather than caramel. Aside from that minor hiccup, everything was perfect, and we will definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone celebrating a special occasion.
