Staff were friendly and happy to help in any way possible. Food took about 30 minutes as the place was extremely busy. So I would have expected the roast diner to come with a freshly made Yorkshire pudding. There was enough time. Unfortunately, it was the chainsaw that had to try to enter into the offering. Other than that, the rest of the meal was cooked perfectly. I can and will recommend the meat pie. We will visit again soon.
It was a slow evening when we stopped by. Service was slow and there were a couple of locals vaping inside all night. Atmosphere was lacking as a result but food was good.
I stopped by for a drink while waiting for my takeaway pizza. I was served a delicious pint by a friendly staff member, and the food was excellent. The atmosphere was nice, with a lovely view overlooking a lake.
Great place to hang out, delicious food, and great selection of tea and coffee. Prices are very affordable. Definitely coming back, might try a beer next time.
Small place by the lake..confusion over our reservation..it did get rectified. 4 meals all good..the salad had an abundance of olives though..far too many! Roast dinner was great as was the steak pie
