The Strands Inn, which is owned by the same people, was too busy the woman sent us away. She was really rude!

The pub had a cozy atmosphere, delicious beer, a wide variety of whisky options, and the food was outstanding. Unfortunately, I was too tired from hiking to fully enjoy the whisky selection, but I hope to come back with my wife in the future. I would definitely stay here again.

Very welcoming staff. Bar and dining area had a good mix of locals and weekend visitors. Extensive menu. Food was very good and service good too. Only downside for me was although food orders were taken at the table, drinks had to be ordered at the bar which felt a bit disjointed. Would happily visit again
