Description

Dining at the Clock Tower Restaurant and Bar presents a mixed bag of experiences. Many patrons commend the welcoming staff and the appealing décor, while others express frustrations regarding the menu's vegetarian offerings. Despite some delicious dishes, such as sizzling prawns and lamb shank, several guests faced significant issues, including slow service and unexpected ingredients in vegetarian meals. The ambiance can also be affected by loud music, making conversation difficult. While some visitors found the food outstanding and felt cared for, others left feeling disappointed. Overall, the Clock Tower seems to promise potential but may need improvement in consistency and attention to dietary needs.

This charming restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere and a peaceful ambiance. It was bustling with customers, including a lively bachelorette party. The hardworking staff made sure to cater to everyone's needs. The food was outstanding, and we never felt rushed during our meal. We will definitely be coming back for another visit.

The bar downstairs was bustling, while the restaurant upstairs was much quieter. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed, and felt very welcoming, almost like a family-run establishment. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place.

We had an absolutely terrible dining experience at this restaurant. It is not vegetarian-friendly as the vegetarian meals were unexpectedly served with a stuffed cabbage parcel containing bacon, which was not mentioned on the menu. When we brought this to the attention of both the waitress and the manager, they seemed unaware that serving a bacon dish with a vegetarian option was an issue. Eventually, they offered to remove it from the plate. The dauphinoise potatoes appeared to be made with cream on tinned potatoes, and the colcannon mash was simply a bowl of mash. The mains all tasted like frozen meals and the service was incredibly slow, with our mains not being served until 9 pm despite arriving at 7 pm with only six people ahead of us. It is strongly advised to avoid this place at all costs.
