This restaurant closed months ago and appears to be in a state of disrepair. It does not seem like there are any plans to reopen it anytime soon.
We were fortunate to have made a reservation as the restaurant was quite busy. My partner really enjoyed his soup starter and even compared it to his grandmother's homemade soup (a huge compliment). The steak pie was also a crowd favorite, and my gluten-free hot chili chicken was incredibly delicious. The service was great and the ambiance was beautiful.
I just have to say great ambiente traditional style, not with (log fire) attending staff who like to help and eat to die for forget! local beer, tick very reasonable prices (for what they get, it is a stealing . and can not wait to try I'm sorry to say thank you all.
Three of us did not book here, but managed to sit in the bar area at the fire. good service by really attentive staff. can recommend Friday evenings for a really cozy meal in a good atmosphere.
