Was Sean Davies at Herdwicks a mag?
Had a fabulous lunch with a lovely group of friends. Had homemade Mushroom Soup and Ham, Cheese and Pickle Sandwich. It was so nice and tasted delicious. The chocolate brownie was to die for. After discovering pictures of your afternoon tea on Facebook, my friend and I decided to make a reservation and visit for the first time today. We were incredibly impressed with the food quality and outstanding service. We are already looking forward to returning to try the Christmas afternoon tea.

I had a wonderful lunch here yesterday under the beautiful sunshine. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and they had a great selection of beer. What's not to love?

Fantasic local staff professional friendly, and cant do enough for them, and eating is top notch! the pizzas were amazing, I would definitely recommend the place is beautiful and really inviting xx 5 stars

While we haverigg to foot with my 2 dogs where we lived, through the marina village to millom the sky opened. we came to happiness about this jewel of a place on the hill

I recently had dinner with my wife at this restaurant. The pizzas they serve, compared to those we have eaten in Italy, are exceptional. The beer was excellent and the wine was very good. However, they do take some time to prepare the pizzas as they are made fresh. The desserts were delicious, and although they ran out of a particular cookie, the lemon and rhubarb pot was a delightful surprise. The dining room was not as large as I had expected, so making a reservation during busy times is recommended. The service was great, with a friendly and attentive young waitress who accidentally brought us the wrong wine, but it didn't bother us. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
