So. Randomly discovered this place today. An unassuming small building behind dreary retail on Fairview Ave roughly across from Aldies Sign says Polish Deli . Bought some cooked kielbasa (2 kinds) and kraut. The Kielbasa is amazing!! The smoke flavor, quality, and tenderness of the meat is out of this world. There were a range of other cured meats cannot wait to try them on other planned trips to this deli! Especially looking forward to a couple of types of deli ham. There are canned products, Russian teas and other stuff on shelves that I am not familiar with. Owner said they 've been there for 4 years! There must be some people who are in the know and keeping it a secret. What a happy find!!
Very friendly owners. Food is top notch. Had a sandwich and bought chocolate for the wife. Definitely going back when in town.
Fabulous find with terrific food crammed into a relatively small place. Today I had a pate sandwich, split pea soup and homemade cheese blintzes. All top notch. And there are tons of imported specialty items on the shelves. You will not leave hungry. If you can't wait to get home, there is even a small table at which to eat. The owner is most friendly and charming.
Halina and I love the authentic Polish food available here. Their potato pancakes bring very pleasant memories. Everything is homemade and great! Halina and Ed Ludde
