According to the wife the sandwich was very fresh and tasty. Great to see places still make a hamburger liked they should not these gourmet brioche burgers with some sort of special mayo and sauce etc or rubbish places like Mcdonalds.

There is not much open in Cooma on a Sunday night in October. But this cafe was. I visited back in March and I didn't really want to come again, but my friends were keen. I stuck with a pot of english breakfast tea and raising toast. My friends got the steak sandwich and the hamburger. They were happy enough. I was happy with my raising toast but the teabag tea - well .... could have just had hot water. Anyway served by a friendly waitress.
A group of us stopped here for breakfast after an early start from Canberra. This place is definitely the small town 'coffee lounge' style of the 70s and 80s with big serves but not very healthy. You can have eggs any style, so long as they're fried. You get your choice of white toast, or white toast, and of course a deep fried hash brown. I guess the fried tomato was their attempt at healthy but didn't really cut it.
Good food but need to wait a bit longer, typical old country cafe anyway staff are friendly and helpful.
