Stopped in on our way through for some pies. After reading reviews they sounded great so thought we’d try but wouldn’t say they were amazing. Pies were $7.50 each which I think is too much for a pie. We had the pepper steak and chunky beef. The pies were nice, really hot which was great and the meat was really tender but for that price, I wouldn’t return.
Super tasty and good sized pies and sausage rolls. Good range of sweets. Service was quick and friendly and we were able to dine in.
Van, the baker, and his family are lovely people. They are the best regarding pastries, specially the apple turnover, and their pies are meaty fresh and delicious. Definitely try them.
The ham and cheese croissant has bechamel sauce! It tastes so good! We have also tried the beef mushroom, Bushmen, apple tart. They are all quality made.
Located on the main road next to the beautifully maintained Art Deco Alpine Hotel, this little gem sure packs a punch in a wad of pastry.
