Incredible view! I visited this restaurant with friends for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The second floor offers a stunning view of the sea. The convenience of ordering via a QR code eliminates the need to wait in line, which is fantastic. The coffee arrived first, followed by the food, all of which was beautifully presented and delicious. I had a side of eggs and bacon that was more than enough to satisfy my appet... What Anonym dislikes about Cafe Dbar:
Nice little cafe with nice ambience. Great ocean view from upstairs. Gets very busy over public holidays and weekends. Good variety of breakfast. Generally the food was appetising. The Vietnamese Omelette was very flavourful would recommend to try this. Wouldn’t recommend the big breakfast (paid for extra egg for big breakfast but it came with only two eggs and no mushrooms and we were told that it usually just comes... View all feedback.
Very disappointing for the prices they charge. all our eggs were over boiled and hard. bacon was burned to a cripple. mushrooms were black and tasted like a grill. sourdough needed a steak knife. more
Unfriendly, unwilling and rude. cost for very average loss. the staff from the Erdnuss kitchen was “going elsewhere”. we will not be back.
A great little find! The açai bowl and coffee were fantastic, but the baked goods we tried could use some improvement. They were a bit undercooked, and the muffin was quite doughy, likely due to the fresh strawberries inside. However, the other meals being served looked appetizing!
This cute little cafe located right on the peak of a hill overlooking Coolangatta is the perfect stop for a delicious breakfast or coffee. Staying close by we frequented Cafe D’bar for a coffee on our walks but stayed for breakfast one morning and weren’t disappointed. We both ordered the açai bowls and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity for the price! For a very reasonable $16 you get a thick açai bowl topped with delicious fruits, granola and grains. The only thing I would say that is missing is peanut butter, but that’s completely personal choice. There is also a really cute homewares clothing shop directly beside the cafe which is a must visit !
