She thought it was an interesting interpretation,... read more My wife and I enjoyed Sunday dinner here. The beer was cold and the plates were stacked. Anna had Thai salad. She thought it was an interesting interpretation, but it was a bit sweet and she couldn't find any chili and there wasn't much salad... but a lot of beef. I had chicken kiev with chips and salad. I don't think I'm gonna need a meal this month. It was huge and delicious. The chips returned memories to my mother.

A great place to stop and unwind with a fantastic meal.

W... read more Initially, my wife was hesitant about dining at this restaurant. However, after ordering our meals, she was left speechless after the first bite of her steak. We both ordered steak with vegetables and everything was cooked perfectly. The buffet food was hot and the cauliflower was delicious. The tables in the room were well spaced, allowing for a comfortable dining experience. The atmosphere was pleasant, with great lighting. It felt like a cozy family pub in the countryside. Parking was not a problem. We would definitely return if my wife has work at the hospital in the future.

We ordered and then went to get drinks from the bar including a bottle of water. Well, the water bottle had a very healthy growth of mould on...the bottom of it. Not just a little, it was covered. Do they ever clean their bottles? The meals came out and were acceptable, bit over cooked. The buffet of vegetables was ok, but the potatoe bake was so undercooked it was inedible. They had a blackboard for a selection of desserts, went to order but was told, “ oh I have to clean that board, we only have pie” asked what sort of pie, oh just some berry thing. The service in the bar was great as always, but they need to seriously look at the meal area, needs improvement.

We came across a typical Country Hotel in Coolamon (Vic),and we decided to have lunch here at the local Royal Hotel.The wife went for her normal Chicken Schnitz... read more We came across a typical Country Hotel in Coolamon (Vic),and we decided to have lunch here at the local Royal Hotel.The wife went for her normal Chicken Schnitzel, mushroom sauce,and chips,plus options from the salad bar.I went for the open Steak Sandwich and chips plus...options from the salad bar..All the meals were fabulous,in particular, the wife's mushroom sauce,it was just perfect. Also,the young girl working behind the Bar was just fantastic for her information on other businesses in town.Well done,to all the people of Coolamon for such an impressive experience.
