This restaurant is a gem, Called here for dinner with friends, We were taken to our table by a very nice and friendly waitress, One of our friends is disabled and there was no problem with the weelchair at our table. The food we were given was just beautiful, Also the disabled toilet was perfect for my friend. Will deff call here again. View all feedback.

All my family and friends always rave about the Tilly Lamp, how massive the portions are, how good the food is, We'd never been so decided to give it a go. Service was a bit slow, to be honest, and the place wasn't overly busy. Steak awful. Complained but still expected to pay for part of the meal eatin which wasn't much. Elderly gentleman needs to learn management skills. Very poor experience. If you have a complaint please ensure you chase the staff around the restaurant before the rest of the party is finished their meals or expect to pay!! Apparently this is their policy.

I went to this restaurant for a birthday meal and it was the best food we have had in a long time! My partner had the duck and I had the cock and bull. We can't wait to go back again.
I have visited this restaurant a couple of times, the first time I was disappointed because there were no tilley lamps on display. I collect them and was looking forward to seeing some. However, aside from that, the place and food were excellent. The service was quick and the staff were very friendly. I would advise only going here if you are very hungry, as the portions are huge and it is unlikely that one could finish a 3 course meal. I recommend either having a starter or a dessert with the main course, but not both. Otherwise, you would need to starve yourself for 2 or 3 days to have a chance at finishing all 3 courses.
