Stopped in after a dance competition: we were starving! Ordered the burger and it was over cooked and dry; nothing special about it. Our waitress was helpful about ordering our food and she never came back to check on us when our food was deliver to us. View all feedback.
The food at the iron horse bar & grill is very good and the prices are low for the quality of food you get, I ordered a burger, forget the name of it but it was amazing, will be coming back soon ????
Was a guest for a private function they booked the entire patio the server was very rude and snarky poor customer skills very bad attitude was the first time I was there and will be the last time very disappointed
The Iron Horse has possibilities but, the location leaves something to be desired. Pity that it's right at an intersection on a road which is loaded with trucks - the kind that have to gear down to stop then gear up to go!!! NOISY!! Although the patio is comfortable, it's squashed between three buildings so there's no such thing as cross ventilation. Food was OK but, nothing special. That's my point of view!!
What can I say, the food is great, and the staff is very nice! We make a point to stop in at this place because of the great food. We always sit on the patio. The staff is knowledgeable about the drinks, and menu. My husband had the morning after burger (40 Creek BBQ sauce, caramalized onions, and an egg on it). I had the avocado chicken sandwhich.
It is a bar after all but that considered there is a good variety of food on the menu other than your typical barfood. The wait staff are very helpful and honest with their menu suggestions. They have daily specials. The patio and parts of the restaurant are not wheelchair accessible. It is possible however to request access through a back door which takes you through the kitchen to maybe a dozen tables on the same level. There is no wheelchair accessible washroom. The atmosphere is very casual but staff very friendly. They seem to have some very interesting entertainers coming from time to time and that certainly would be something to look into if you are planning a day trip to the area.
