best fritters I’ve ever had good value for the quality of food and thoughtful flavours and texture (forgot to take a pic). we got pancakes too which were yum but fritters were the stand out in my opinion. View all feedback.
What Erland Kaspersen doesn't like about X74 Restaurant:
elaborate and tiny portions. expect them to get completely overrated caffe. not impressed and will never return. we said to the waiter, but don't think something is done. really disappointed for a place that could have potential. View all feedback.
My friend and I visited X74 for breakfast and enjoyed the service as well as the food. Thanks for making our trip more enjoyable!
Little café located on Bream Street with excellent food and service. A girlfriend and I called in for brunch on a Tuesday and took ages to make our meal decisions from the menu. Loved the fact that both the breakfast and lunch menus run concurrently I finally decided on the stilton cheese soufflé which was delicious and served with thin crispy slices of bread. My friend chose the haloumi and avocado stack with a side of smoked salmon. I did have one of her three salmon slices and that was plenty for both of us.Friendly staff, efficient service, great coffee and a wide range of dishes would certainly have us returning.
Faboulous !, the girls kept saying how great the food was. We had 3 HUGE plates of breakfasts !, which the 4 hungry girls polished and kept saying we have to come back. Very friendly service by Tim the owner, though the others inside seemed a little stressed. Lots of friendly people around, very nice outside tables, great coffees. Definitely a must do, with reasonable prices.
In the daytime it's a great little cafe and the coffee is absolutely fantastic, made by experienced and fun baristas. The cafe then turns into a restaurant for dinner - it's BYO (always a winner) and the food is fresh and really well cooked. The staff are friendly and you can tell the owner is passionate about food and I enjoy supporting a local business. My only comment is that the menu is quite meat-based and being a vego/fish eater, I sometimes would like a little more choice.
Came in on a Saturday with no reservation and they took care of us like we were old friends. Wonderful service, great food, and lovely hand picked wines. Limoncello was awesome. A definite must visit of you're in Sydney and no excuse not to visit of you're in Coogee!
