Phoenix - Constanţa

It is a good place during the day to chill and socialize and party or enjoy a folk-rock concert. Good waitress and bartenders. I recommend.

This is one of my favourite places to go in Constanta. The name links it to a famous Romanian rock band and it's probably the most established bar/club of its type in the city. The venue was redecorated a few years back and is split between two floors with a beer garden on the upper floor, which is heated in the winter months. Their playlist is mainly rock music but none of the heavy stuff so don't feel put off because of that. They sometimes host live events such as music or stand up comedy acts.

Pizza tasted bad, too much dough and fat, prices very high; sound quality was low, too noisy.

We went here to see an improvisation show and the atmosphere was nice. We managed to make the waiter smile, she seemed quite sad but we understand we all have our bad days. It's quite hard to find parking around the club but it's not impossible. I had a nugo which was super tasty. We also had a pizza which was good and chicken strips with fries. The chicken was crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside just how I like it. We were quite surprised by the quality of the food we had, I must admit. We'll visit again for sure.

Went there during an anniversary of the club and it didn't disappoint me at all. The staff was nice and the drinks were enjoyable as well. The food came perfectly after the break of the show (Sarmale Reci) and it didn't disappoint either. Would 100% go there again to enjoy a night with my friends
