Pacific Yard House - Conroe
Pacific Yard House
Description
Nestled in a bustling area, this restaurant boasts a charming ambiance and a lively atmosphere, drawing diners in with its unique decor and live music. While the food has garnered praise—especially the fish tacos and pizza—service consistency appears to be an issue. Patrons have reported long wait times for food, with some meals arriving lukewarm or delayed. Reservations seem to complicate seating arrangements, often leaving smaller parties waiting outside. Despite some service hiccups, the overall experience is enjoyable, with many guests eager to return for another chance to savor the delicious offerings in this vibrant venue.

Then, at 4:30 PM—just an hour and a half before our reservation—I received a call informing me that they had a last-minute auction event and had taken our table. They suggested we could find seating in the main area, but we would have to pay $25 for the private event happening in the adjacent room. When I explained that I already had guests on their way and requested that they accommodate us in the main area without the fee, considering it was their mistake, they refused and insisted that I would need to reschedule my event, which was less than an hour away. I have never experienced such poor treatment from a restaurant. I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but this was truly the worst experience I've had. I had a party of 14 on the way, and I was canceled on just an hour before our reservation. What’s the point of making reservations if someone can simply call in days later and take your table away?
This restaurant is very family-friendly and a great spot for lunch! The pizza was delicious.
This is one of my favorite spots for lunch with friends. I’ve never tried anything from the menu that I wouldn’t order again. I highly recommend the Keto Nachos, which feature fresh pork rinds instead of tortilla chips. Just a heads up – it’s intended as an appetizer but is more than enough for two people. The ambiance is industrial chic, and the menu offers a delightful blend of Southern, BBQ, and Tex-Mex cuisine. Prices are reasonable, and the service is attentive without being intrusive. Regarding dietary restrictions, I typically order Keto meals. I’m not certain about the availability of vegetarian dishes, but there is a nice variety of salads. As for wheelchair accessibility, there are no stairs, and the aisles are spacious enough for easy navigation.
Made reservations online . When we arrived we were told that they don’t take reservations online. There were several people ahead of us who had also made reservations and told the same thing. It was very frustrating to have to wait an additional 45 minutes to be seated after driving over 40 minutes . Many patrons walked out. They had the phone numbers of the people that made the reservations. They should have contacted them In advance to tell them The reservations would not be honored. Very bad business. We ended up staying since we had 8 in our party and drove to listen to the entertainment.
Went to see The Fab 5 there on St Patty’s Day. It was crowded as I would have expected for either of those things. The staff handled the crowd well. If I had any complaint at all it would be that the dance floor/area could have been a little bigger but it all worked out okay. Had a great time as always and the food was superb as always. Keep up the good work PYH and we’ll keep coming back.
