Before I start my review, I?d like to preface by saying that my driver was on time and waited for the order at the location so this is not an issue of a 3rd party delivery company being at fault for food sitting in a to go box on a counter. I also absolutely LOVE trying new bbq, so I was pretty excited to get my food! However, I was disappointed from the moment I opened my bag. I ordered the three meat plate with marbled brisket, turkey, and chicken with potato salad and macaroni and cheese as my sides. I?ll start with the good the chicken was pretty moist and flavorful, and the mac and cheese was good as well. The turkey has decent flavor, but it was so dry I could not eat more than a few slices. The brisket was not marbled, and it was incredibly dry and tough. What little fat strip they left on the meat was unrendered, and the overall texture was rubbery and unpleasant. Disturbingly, the only thing that arrived remotely warm was the potato salad. It?s temperature lead me to believe it is not being stored properly, so I stopped eating it after the first bite. Again, my delivery driver waited at the restaurant for my food to be prepared, and I live approximately 12 minutes from the restaurant. There is no reason my food should have arrived as cold and as dry as it did. As I said before, I love BBQ and was really looking forward to trying something new. Unfortunately, this will likely be my one and only experience with Smokey Mo?s.

No more baby b... read more This place has really gone downhill in recent years. It used to be my favorite bbq joint in the area, and now I'll probably never eat here again. No more baby back ribs, and their regular ribs were horrible the last time I went. No more fried okra, andtheir other sides have never been any good. As others have mentioned, portions keep getting smaller while prices keep gettinghigher.
