So my husband an... read more I visited last night and was hoping to get a baked potato, but the staff was honest and informed me that they had been sitting out for a while. So my husband and I ended up ordering a kids' grilled cheese sandwich, which was actually delicious. I also chose the turkey and cheese sliders from the chalkboard menu and swapped the bread for toasted rye. It was so tasty, and the portions were huge! Plus, they offer complimentary soft serve ice cream, which is the best. You'll definitely leave feeling full! I highly recommend this place!

We also noticed we were overcharg... read more We visited the restaurant on Sunday and placed our order. After paying, my wife commented on how expensive our two meals were. We also noticed we were overcharged by seven dollars for three drinks that we didn't order. When I approached the cashier to address the issue, he told me he couldn’t issue a refund and instead suggested charging my card again to try and refund one of the orders. I refused and asked to speak with the manager. It became clear that the management was not honest. The manager claimed he had processed a refund, but he said it would take two to three days to appear on my card. Seven days later, and still no refund. I will never eat there again. This family-owned restaurant seems to operate in a dishonest manner. I have even contacted the Texas Attorney General's office about this issue. Be cautious if you decide to eat here; it seems they may be treating many customers this way. It’s disappointing to see a place we’ve supported for years go downhill and mistreat its patrons.
