Alfonso's Mexican - Conroe

My daughter to this wonderful Mexican restaurant, this place has all normal lists of food, but all fresh and made home, not like the chain restaurants that have boxes of frozen prefabricated products, that they reheat, instead, this wonderful place makes it fresh from scratch. the aromen were wonderful and the portions were perfect. my daughter had her frogs and I had her chimichanga, both dishes were well prepared and very tasteful. the waiting staff was very professional and prompt, the owner personally checked for us and ensured that we take care of us. if they love Mexican food, I recommend to them to visit this place and give them an attempt!

We had the fried calamari and the jalapeño poppers were both excellent, we also had the jumbo margaritas when the others were frozen on the rocks and they were also excellent. our server was fantastic and the place is so clean and fresh. my friends and I will definitely return.

I usually don't like to return food, but I was disappointed when I saw the bill and I got a bark plate and got my friend a little simple. the reason I give it 3 stars is because eating was not like the price and got microshaft warmed tortillas for my bark. so no good experience at all

The new management/owners have done a fantastic job with this long standing establishment. The food comes out promptly and hot. The pork carnitas were fantastic. The bean soup is perfection. The guacamole is seasoned wonderfully. You are made to feel at home. If you haven’t been here in a while, come back and give them another try.

The new management has done a great job! New paint, menu, decor, plates, salsa, etc. We had Sour Cream Enchiladas and El Jardin meal (tamale, taco, cheese puff). Delicious food, very friendly staff, we'll definitely be back.
