We enjoyed an exceptional late lunch at Danagher’s. Edward, our bartender and server, provided outstanding service. Sitting by the fire on a chilly Irish day made for a perfect setting. The food was tasty, reasonably priced, and served in just the right portions. I highly recommend visiting for a pint and a meal in a warm, inviting Irish atmosphere. View all feedback.

Danagher’s in Cong is a lovely little place. Very nice rooms, very clean, very friendly staff. The bar downstairs seemed to be a local haunt. Very cozy and a great Irish coffee. It is right across the street from Pat Cohan’s and the cross for any Quiet Man fans.
I love this place! The atmosphere is wonderful, and Thomas the barman is a true gem—he always welcomes customers with a big smile or a cheeky wink when his hands are full. He alone makes the place feel so inviting. Ann, the other bar lady, is equally warm and friendly. You couldn’t ask for a nicer greeting from either of them. No complaints at all! The people of Cong and Mayo are genuinely kind and welcoming, so definitely pay Danagher’s a visit. I’m sure you won’t regret it. Clint and Anna
We were very well received in this typical South Connemara pub restaurant. The price/quality ratio was very good and the waiter was very attentive. A very nice place to stop for a quiet break before hitting the road again
We enjoyed live music here while enjoying a Guinness. The waiter was very friendly, and it was a very pleasant atmosphere.
We came for food, it was high quality food and delicious the chef is very good. Everything was freshly made. Kids menu was very good. The stake was really good and beef pie.

I tried the beef stew at Danagher's, and it was absolutely fantastic with a very generous portion. While in Ireland, I really wanted to enjoy some traditional beef stew, and Danagher's was the only place on the menu that offered it. I wasn’t disappointed at all. The atmosphere is more like a bar than a traditional restaurant, which was fine, though the tables were a bit low compared to the chairs when eating stew. No big issue—the taste made up for it. It's important to know that Danagher's only accepts cash for food orders, but they do have an ATM in the lobby and also accept US dollars.
During our visit to Étretat, we were looking for a restaurant without seafood or vegetarian options for dinner. At Danagher's, the staff member who helped us was very friendly, and we received our delicious meals quickly. The vegetarian wrap from the menu was exceptional, and we enjoyed it so much that we ordered a second one.
The food at Danagher's is outstanding, and the staff are wonderfully friendly. They offer homemade dishes that are generous in both quality and portion size. We loved talking with the team and will certainly be back on our next visit!

Don’t be fooled by the TripAdvisor price range—most dishes here are under €10. Everything is freshly made, full of flavor, and juicy! The sauces taste truly homemade too. There’s also a cozy seating area upstairs where you can relax and enjoy your tasty burger or salad!

Danagher's offers a fantastic menu, and their shawarma wrap is absolutely delicious! We started with a falafel featuring fresh mint and a tasty, light shawarma wrap. We enjoyed it so much that we ordered a second one. Additionally, when my husband accidentally left his phone behind, the staff quickly secured it until we came back to retrieve it. Many thanks to the team at Danagher's!

We had the chicken sandwich (though I can’t remember its exact name) and the falafel sandwich at Danagher's this afternoon, and both were absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly too. I definitely recommend giving Danagher's menu a try!
