While in Ireland, I really wanted to enjoy some traditional beef stew, and Danagher's was the only place on the menu that offered it. I wasn’t disappointed at all. The atmosphere is more like a bar than a traditional restaurant, which was fine, though the tables were a bit low compared to the chairs when eating stew. No big issue—the taste made up for it. It's important to know that Danagher's only accepts cash for food orders, but they do have an ATM in the lobby and also accept US dollars.

Sitting by the fire on a chilly Irish day made for a perfect setting. The food was tasty, reasonably priced, and served in just the right portions. I highly recommend visiting for a pint and a meal in a warm, inviting Irish atmosphere.

Sitting by a cozy fire on a chilly Irish day made the atmosphere perfect. The food was tasty and portioned just right, though slightly on the expensive side. I highly recommend visiting for at least a pint and a meal to enjoy the wonderful Irish ambiance.

The atmosphere is wonderful, and Thomas the barman is a true gem—he always welcomes customers with a big smile or a cheeky wink when his hands are full. He alone makes the place feel so inviting. Ann, the other bar lady, is equally warm and friendly. You couldn’t ask for a nicer greeting from either of them. No complaints at all! The people of Cong and Mayo are genuinely kind and welcoming, so definitely pay Danagher’s a visit. I’m sure you won’t regret it. Clint and Anna
