We dined on Friday night. First impression very neat and clean. White tablecloths and greeted by a very friendly waiter.Service was excellent. Waiter was knowledgeable and helped us decide.We didn't wait long for starters and mains came at good timing. Food was delicious. Absolutely loved it. Very well priced. Anything but fine. Home delivery was 50 minutes late, food was cold, tasteless, soggy and overpriced. The delivery driver completely confused us with his ever changing excuses as to why it was late. Eventually he said he thought he was actually early???? We will never try it again, too many good restaurants around to waste money on food this bad. View all feedback.
This is a great little restaurant, with all my favorite Indian dishes and more. The decor is pleasant and I found myself tapping along with more than one piece of music. My partner and I shared a yummy onion bhaji starter, which could easily have fed more than two. This was followed with lamb jalfrezi, chicken tikka masala and naan bread, again all delicious. We were pleased to be offered a choice of how spicy the two main dishes would be: mild, medium or hot. All in all, a great meal. The only slight negative was that it was a cold night and a constantly open door left the back of the restaurant quite cold. However, that was a minor concern and the arrival of the main dishes warmed us up.
Really good Indian take-away. It's like home-made food. We will definitely will be going back. We ordered samosas, chicken tikka, sheesh kebab,butter Chicken, palak paneer, beef saag, dal Tarkha and naan. All was good

I would rate Venkys 8 out of 10 for their delicious, home-cooked Indian food. Although the restaurant may not catch your eye at first glance, I highly recommend stepping inside as you will be pleasantly surprised. It seems to be a family-run establishment, which is evident in the authentic, home-cooked flavors that set it apart from more modernized Indian restaurants. One standout dish worth trying is the naan with sultanas and coconut. The wait staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to return to Venkys again soon!
I had a pleasant dining experience at this restaurant. It was not crowded when I visited with my boyfriend. The server was friendly, engaging in conversation and accommodating when I asked for vegan options. The food I ordered was delicious, and my boyfriend enjoyed the butter chicken he ordered. The prices were reasonable, making it a good choice for a meal out.
