A quick google revealed Platform Eighty Two... read more Visiting from Brisbane, we were keen to try the 'latest and greatest' #foodporn trending dishes Sydney had to offer. A quick google revealed Platform Eighty Two as just that. Their tiered Brekky Platters looked amazing, and as with anything amazing, you expect a wait. We waited around 45 minutes on a busy Sunday lunch service for a table inside. Definitely acceptable by our standards! While the savoury platter fare wasn't overly technical, the big variety of simple flavours hit the mark - what we would describe as a Big Brekkie on steroids. The big tick for us was the sweet tier - french toast crumpets with nutella and choc granola, topped with a caramel Drumstick. You heard bird turd. A drumstick. While some may complain about the wait, we felt it was worth it. Not to mention our drinks and food came out SUPER fast. Thanks for a great Sydney brunch Platform Eighty Two :)

Having food intolerances allergies in some places you get treated poorly as it means they have to change their processes, however your waitress could not have been more welcoming and understanding! We ordered the breakfast platter for two, which arrived in about 20 minutes (considering how busy it was, this was still quick) but it was definitely worth the wait! This was by far the best breakfast I have ever had in my entire life!! The food was amazing, the staff was friendly, and the presentation was exceptional. This place definitely lives up to its reputation!
