Have been coming here for years, sometimes just to pop out for a quick lunch while working. Now that I've retired it was the perfect place for a catch up with my work colleagues. The Friendly staff make you feel very welcome and the reasonably priced fresh wholesome food is delicious and value for money. Plenty of seating inside and out. What User doesn't like about Kokoda Cafe:
Kokoda Cafe is located amongst a very tranquil garden setting nearby the Kokoda Memorial Walkway. Coffee was fantastic and the food was delicious. Menu is not overly extravagant however the food we ordered was delicious. Definitely a nice stop if exploring the area. The most...outstanding thing was the service very accommodating. We were doing a walk around the western part of Sydney Harbour and found ourselves at this small cafe at morning-tea time. The cafe looks good, wheelchair accessible and featuring a delightful garden courtyard. However, our morning coffee was disappointing the coffee was pretty...forgettable as were the accompanying treats, mine being a tasteless vanilla slice. But looking at some other tables we saw a few lunch meals arrive and they looked excellent: fish and chips, and quiche and salad to name a couple. Good-sized servings, lots of fresh salad greens, and a check of the board suggested meal prices very reasonable. Next time, we will plan to lunch here! There was another aspect of the shop worth comment: it was full of glass cabinets of figurines, ornaments, soap dishes, costume jewellery and all sorts of odd trinkets, all for sale. What they had to do with the Kokoda Track I couldn't work out but they made for an interesting diversion while we waited to order.
Lovely cafe, located near Concord Hospital, but secluded in a garden setting near the water. So close to Concord Road, but you would never know. Very reasonable home-cooked style meals and it's open every day, except Monday. Plenty of parking. Take a casual or brisk...walk along the Kokoda walkway around the waterway area.
We parked at the free Bray Bay Reserve to walk its memorial walkway. Halfway along its winding path is this nice cafe with a reasonably priced breakfast and lunch menu along with a signboard for specials'. We stopped for coffee as its the perfect...place to relax, enveloped by the vegetation, trees and the sounds of birds. Clean restrooms are next door and covered picnic tables nearby.
We went here today for lunch then a walk. Food was very nice and fresh the staff very good. The place looked very clean. I would return
