Contribute Feedback80 Thoreau is a hidden gem located in the former train station in Concord, offering a creative and relaxing dining experience. While the service is excellent and the food well-prepared, some reviewers felt that the dishes lacked variety and the prices were not justified. However, others enjoyed the special menus, such as the tomato and corn tasting, and found dishes like scallop crudo and mushroom risotto to be amazing and flavorful. Despite some disappointments, many patrons consider 80 Thoreau to be their favorite local restaurant, with a welcoming staff and a charming ambiance.

We found 80 Thoreau as we were looking for a restaurant to celebrate our first anniversary. We weren’t sure we’d find a place like this without the drive to the city but we’re so glad we did. The staff marked our occasion and continued to be attentive all night, helping us with recommendations and pacing our meal out so we could enjoy our wine and evening. The food was delicious, seasonal, and creative. We can’t wait to be back! Service: Dine in

It’s hard to find, but park at the old train station, look for the blue door, past the elevators, and to the left up the stairs you will find welcoming staff, a knowledgeable bartender, comfortable seating, just the right ambient lighting, and dishes (and drinks) that amaze! This is the epitome of a hidden gem. Highly recommend this establishment as a creative, relaxing dining experience. Service: Dine in
