Checkmate Pizza - Concord

I’m from New Jersey so I’m very picky when it comes to pizza and I have to say this is my favorite pizza place in Concord! Very tasty, always fresh, and they’re represented by pleasant people.

Good pizza, 6, 12, 18 and 24 inch grinders! Parking is rough, standing room only, take out only, if your a social distancing practitioner, call ahead for a rapid in and out pick up or have it delivered Tasty

Looks like my pizza was dropped tonight (7/26) and again (2/22/19), but Checkmate is the best in Concord. Hands down. Edit: they came out with a fresh pizza and it made it safely! Back up to 5 stars for the pizza.

I ordered delivery last week, we live further out but they are kind enough to come out and deliver. On 9/24/21 from checkmate in Concord we had Lukas as our delivery person. He was so polite! I had to hold my cat so he didn't run outside and Lukas was so friendly to him and even held him and spoke about his own cats! It was a quick conversation because obviously he was working, but the way he made the delivery personable was great. He got a great tip just for being so kind. Keep this employee! Give him a raise or some sort of recognition because he is doing such a good job.
