The staff at the front were friendly too. I’ll definitely be back! Five stars for freshness!

When the replacement... read more After about five minutes of arguing with the young employee, he finally asked me what I wanted. I said I wanted what I originally ordered. When the replacement pizza arrived, I was asked to return the other half to the driver. I inquired about what they would do with it, and the driver mentioned they might sell it by the slice or take it home with him. Just a note to everyone: who’s to say my cat didn’t sniff and lick the toppings? I will never order from Checkmate again!

However, t... read more I’m specifically reviewing the Manchester location, and I have to say, the pizza was quite good—great cheese and a flavorful topping on a thin crust. However, the bottom crust was soggy and greasy. I would highly recommend using cornmeal on the surface where you place the raw crust, as it will remain underneath during baking. This simple addition would help make the crust much crispier and prevent it from being soggy and greasy.

On 9/24/21 from checkmate in Concord we had Lukas as our del... read more I ordered delivery last week, we live further out but they are kind enough to come out and deliver. On 9/24/21 from checkmate in Concord we had Lukas as our delivery person. He was so polite! I had to hold my cat so he didn't run outside and Lukas was so friendly to him and even held him and spoke about his own cats! It was a quick conversation because obviously he was working, but the way he made the delivery personable was great. He got a great tip just for being so kind. Keep this employee! Give him a raise or some sort of recognition because he is doing such a good job.
