It's a half mile away from the river acc... read more We've almost used Neal's exclusively for the past 7 years. This year we were moved to the new section, called Live Oak. It's a half mile away from the river access, and all the activities. So no more walking, only driving. The spot we were in had zero trees. Seeing that it was routinely hitting 100 degrees, a little shade would have been nice. I will say, the new private shower/toilet and rec building was very nice. Having a few more would be nice, as they were always taken up. The young girls at the counter at the office were very rude and short. Telling my wife just sign it when she was looking over the fine print of the rv rental spot. Maybe it's a high turnover rate they are dealing with? Not sure? We went to the restaurant a few times for dinner, and the food was great. Last year it was kinda bland. If I can ad one suggestion: Place a few more trash boxes along the river. This may cut down on the lazy people that can't walk 100 ft or so to throw away their trash. Unfortunately, these people ruin the river with their trash. Not sure if we will be using neals next year or not. We may check out a few other RV spots down the road.
