The only reason I didn't give it a full five stars is that the chairs were uncomfortable. I highly recommend this lovely spot!

I started with the fried mushrooms, which were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The homemade ranch that came with them was excellent—I'm quite picky about ranch dressing, so it has to be top-notch for me to enjoy it. I also ordered Mimi's fried chicken, and it was fantastic; the chicken was incredibly juicy and tender, perfectly brined, with a wonderfully crispy outside. The waitstaff were outstanding—friendly and attentive, and they worked together seamlessly to assist each other with tables. I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area. In my opinion, this place deserves a rating of 7 out of 5 stars!

The food was... read more I visited for the first time on July 24, 2022, for Sunday lunch, and it was absolutely delightful! It's easy to see why this place is a Texas icon. The food was incredibly delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Our waitress took our order accurately, and we received our meals within 15 minutes, even on a busy afternoon. The parking lot was full, so we had to circle around twice to find a spot. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating with a beautiful view. Prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous. The fried chicken was fantastic, as were the dinner rolls. The atmosphere is very family-friendly. I will definitely be back. A+!

The food was decent, although the chicken tenders were a little tough; aside from that, everything was good. The waitress was very kind and attentive, always checking to see if we needed anything. The view outside is absolutely breathtaking and a feast for the eyes.
