We had such a wonderful day here last week. We hadn't made a reservation in advance, but turned up on the day when they opened and we had a very friendly greeting from the staff who coordinated a table for a late lunch for us....We ended up sitting on the chairs at the front for coffee and pastel del Nata for a while, then later took our table. Lunch was delicious and the service was excellent. It was my birthday and the team did a fun birthday surprise for me. We continued to stay for sunset drinks. It was a blissful day, with great staff, lovely food and a wonderful ambience.

A stunning location! We love the atmosphere here and the food is mostly very good. The only drawback is the restaurant doesn't seem to do much about the annoying amount of flies. One has to literally fight them for the food. The other issue is...the often poor and sometimes very slow service. However, we are used to that now and just factor it in as the Comporta Cafe experience. It's a lovely touch to be able to move to seating in the sand for coffee. A favourite place to go!

The food in this place is ultimate, so tasty! The service is excellent, the people are so nice and welcoming. Next to that the ocean is right at your feet and the views are amazing, such a beautiful beach to both sides. But the most...excellent thing was the maracuja mango cheesecake....heaven!!! I don’t like desserts much but I can eat this one for breakfast lunch dinner and snack any day every day. We will be back for sure
