The restaurant even grows its own herbs and vegetables. Definitely worth a visit.

We were a small grou... read more The restaurant features mainly local Portuguese recipes and dishes. They use regional products, and work with local fisherman and wineries. We were a small group and shared several typical Portuguese "petiscos" / starters. We then had the "Peixe ao Sal" (a traditional way to cook fish, using the local salt as a steamer ensuring it is cooked to perfection and maintains all the taste and nutrients) - this has to be ordered ahead of time. The decor is fabulous and the bar has fantastic cocktails. I recommend you arrive early and enjoy the sunset overlooking the beautiful gardens.
