Comporta becomes a busy place and it wasn't easy to find somewhere for lunch. This place was not disappointing and the grilled fish looked delicious like the shrimp and mussel pan.
We died half a dozen times during our stay in the O Cegonha area. The seafood is exceptionally fresh, sardines, mussels, squids and a number of fish perfectly grilled. A special advantage is Lugas arrow squid grilled completely, a real treat....Pica-pau de Novilho, chopped beef with pimples is a must try. Luis, Sonia and their employees are always ready to advise and help. Prices are very reasonable.
Good food, but slow service seems to be understated. Our main objection was the mosquitoes gathered in the outdoor area and energetically attacked people, changing table or leaving the restaurant. The waiter finally arrived with smoking coffee grounds that she was a little scared. I think the owners should invest in some UV electric cutting lamps and install them where the insects collect.
One of the best Almejas and Sardinhas in Portugal! Very fresh and taste!!! The service is super and very kousy! Cool beer!
I went there twice in my stay in Tróia, and I can’t tell you I wasn’t disappointed. As a Portuguese and connoisseur of seafood I can tell you that the Razor Clams/Gambas Rice and the Seafood Rice were divine. Huge portion for 2, cooked “au...point” and only lacked on having too few gambas. I was truly impressed by the Galego Octopus; the best I haver had. The place is clean and welcoming and the service was good. Beware in the summer as there many mosquitos!
