Once again we tried the tee box restaurant at the beautiful Comox golf club.For a snack like nachos, hot dogs and fries or wings before or after a round of golf... read more Once again we tried the tee box restaurant at the beautiful Comox golf club.For a snack like nachos, hot dogs and fries or wings before or after a round of golf it is ok.Unfortunately unlike previously two years ago where I raved about the excellent "hidden gem", I must say that now the attitude of the staff and the food have turned into a grand disappointment.A couple times now we were greeted by a regretful server who debated whether guests are welcome. Then a continual "we are out of stock on that item" seemed to follow.What was not out of stock was not tasty, unfortunately, so we as a family decided to go elsewhere in the future.Unfortunate.

Would definitely be back!!!!!! Open for breakfast and lunch. The Greek salad is amazing!!!!

After 10 minutes the coffee arrive along with everyone else on a tray... read more Rarely have I had a waitress who did all this so poorly.We asked for coffee and breakfast. After 10 minutes the coffee arrive along with everyone else on a tray, 8 separate cups going to three different tables. Then I had to wait for the milk that I asked for.After the food arrived we had to ask for cutlery, salt & pepper, napkins & water. It took 3 more requests for water before we got a glass.Really, I was beyond frustrated with the service and the other waitress had to keep bailing our waitress out.We have friends that consider this the best place in Comox

I don't know... read more Write this here as it does not seem to be a list for them under his latest name. After the Sanddtrap it became the teeBox and now it's called Reds. I don't know why they can't keep a consistent restaurant there, but I'm degressing. Just say... the food was okay, though a bit expensive. 2 eggs sunny, 3 strips of bacon crunchy, two pieces of toast and hash brown. It's hard to screw this up. What was not good was the dish was ice cold, not how hot food should be served. The place was also very cold, which I noticed on the waitress. Later she told me that she showed up the heat, although I touched the register next to a few moments later, it was still stone cold. The furniture is a little beaten, so some attention and decoration could also stand. A (real) plant or three and some placemats would help. Maybe flowers on the tables? This was a great place back to breakfast when it was the Sanddtrap. Will not be thrown back in his current incarnation.

People buy an additional order to take home and reheat in the...microwave. There are also daily specialties. For a quick snack or a round bite, this newly organized food offers delicious food or food. It serves wine, beer and spirits. The arrangement is attractive and relaxing. The service is friendly and prompt. We ate here a few times, once on the terrace, while we saw the golfers in and other times within the attractive clubhouse.
