I love the mini cinnamon bun, scrambled eggs with cheese and dark roast coffee! Newspapers are available. There is a community commitment and inclusive hiring.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today and it was a delightful hidden gem. The coffee was excellent, and so was the cinnamon bun, although we might order the smaller ones next time. We enjoyed sitting outside on the peaceful patio and are looking forward to trying the spot for lunch.
We have been customers of this establishment for nearly 20 years, when it first was located in Courtenay. The original owner retired but the new owners have continued in a similar manner.
This place boats homemade breads, soups, desserts, wraps and a great assortment of cold and hot beverages. The staff are wonderful and are very obliging. We have gone there so often and are thrilled that they are operating the Bistro in the new hospitals in Comox Valley and Campbell River! What a terrific way to spread the love! Their cinnamon buns are to die for!
