Unfortunately, they served two customers who arrived after my family and me... read more I visited today, marking our first experience at the new location since they opened. Unfortunately, they served two customers who arrived after my family and me, which was quite frustrating, but we tried to remain patient. The gelato was very runny today, and the cone was stale, plus the portion size was disappointingly small. Perhaps the girl who served us noticed my annoyance and decided to give us less. Whatever the reason, it just felt like an off day for them. I usually love the gelato here, and I've never had any issues at the previous location, so maybe they're still adjusting to the new space.

We visited the shop while we were in Comox (we rented a place in Royston across the water) and were looking for something refreshing to eat. The shop is relatively small, but it offers a decent variety of gelato flavors. I decided to try a double cone with blood orange and pistachio (an unusual combination). The blood orange was just okay, but the pistachio was quite good (sticking to traditional flavors is usually a safe bet). On a sunny day, it's a nice spot to grab some gelato.
