Wife and I order here all the time, I have lived in alot of places, tried alot of different styles of chicken, and even made it through the great KFC chickenrush of Courtenay(by the friend skin of my bird, i might add) in the early months of 2022.. But let me tell ya this... Frankies might hands down.. be the best chicken I have ever had In BC, maybe in western Canada... they make a damn fine fried bird i must say. a... View all feedback.
What kelly tweidt doesn't like about Frankie's Fried Chicken:
*Used to be 5-Stars*This used to be the best fried chicken in the world , perfectly crispy and tender on the inside and all the sides were delicious.. BUT the past 2 times I ate here the chicken and fries were very soggy and the gravy wasn’t very hot….. not sure what they have been lacking on but Would love to see it go back to the quality it’s known for!!!.
Chicken tenders were probably the best I've ever had. Piping hot and moist. Really good.The onion rings weren't great. Would have never known there was any onion. Just batter.Donuts and toast were good.I would go back for sure, but strictly for the chicken tenders only.
Okay, ummm so , mmmm, WOW. I think this is the best chicken I have ever eaten. I didn't know it could be so moist and delicious, absolutely every part was amazing, the seasoning is magic. I got the classic and nearly ate the box it came in even though it was more food than I could eat. If you only had one purpose to stop in Comox, this should be that purpose. it will be mine, I refuse to eat anywhere else in Comox. Oh my god Frankie. You win at food. Staff is also top notch. yum yum yum yummmmmmmm
I tried this place for the first time after hearing from so many satisfied customers. I had it delivered to my workplace and it was sooo good! Crispy, tender chicken packed with flavour. Probably the best fried chicken I've had:
Great chicken, and locally owned. The gravy will blow your mind.
