Pampas Grill
Description
At the Original Farmers Market in Los Angeles, this bustling Brazilian grill offers a generous pay-by-weight buffet of succulent meats, vibrant vegetables, rice and black beans, plus cheese bread and plantains. Expect flavorful sirloin, tender garlic beef and spicy chicken—though sausage can be slightly overcooked—and friendly Portuguese-speaking staff. Valued for its variety and affordability, it attracts long lines and a lively market vibe; parking is available for a fee and maps can be misleading, but most diners say the wait is well worth it.

The restaurant is excellent with a wide variety of options! However, it can be a bit tricky to locate, as the address doesn't quite align with what's shown on Google Maps.
This is a fantastic Brazilian grill. It operates like a buffet where you pay based on the weight of the dishes and meats you select. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food. The only downside is the long lines, but it's definitely worth the wait.
My dad took me to this restaurant, and we had to wait in line for quite a while—about 30 to 45 minutes. All the staff speak Portuguese, which was a nice touch. The prices are based on weight. I really enjoyed the rice and black beans, the root vegetable with cheese, the cheese bread, and the plantains the most. The plantains were a beautiful color. The sausage was slightly overcooked, but the steak was delicious. Overall, it was a good experience!
Really good food. Everytime I visit LA I have to come here. The sirloin was very flavorful and the spicy chicken was really good too. The line that wraps around the corner speaks for itself.
My family and I have tried garlic beef and lamb leg and we loved them. I personally loved the garlic beef because it is so tender and juicy. It was a nice experience being at the original farmers market, walking around and trying different foods. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Los Angeles. I have to warn you that the line is long and wraps around the corner but it’s worth the wait. There’s plenty of parking but it costs around $15. Will definitely come back again.
