I’ve passed this place more times to count and never walked in. I finally came inside and my god...the experience was heavenly. I ordered a spinach pide as an appetizer and knew after trying it that this place would be special. I then proceeded to have a gyro. It was exhilarating. As I poured the tzatziki sauce all over it (AKA liquid gold) each bite became more savory. The service was great too. Overall, this place... View all feedback.
What Andrew Woebber doesn't like about Greek Village:
THE WORST “GREEK” FOOD IVE EVER HAD!!I’ve tried this place a number of times. I have to say each time I try the food here, my experience progressively worse. My order is NEVER correct. Being a person who eats nothing but Mediterranean food, this is by far the worst I’ve ever had. Hard to call this place greek, far from Greek actually. I advise anyone who even considers this place, save your money and appetite and tak... View all feedback.
Very good food. Plentiful…had gyro platter and was well done. Good service.
Rarely leave reviews on food places but this was just a horrible experience from a place I remember being very reliable. We called in an order, whoever was working the phone was abrasive, misheard the name for the order and then when we tried to correct it, we got snippy reply back, now if I was there in person, I would have canceled the order and left. Now we pick up the food, come home. The clams were burned on the top. The soup, the barley was barely cooked and still had bite. The potatoes on the entree didn’t seem fresh, like they were made yesterday. And the burger I ordered was not cooked to the correct temperature. I’m not sure if this was a frozen patty but from the presentation and the way it made me sick immediately, I believe it was. They only refunded the burger even though the entire meal was pretty trash. My father had a half a clam, the burn on them overpowered everything. The soup wasn’t enjoyable. The burger and chicken/potatoes were tossed after a few bites because it just wasn’t fresh.I remember this place being top notch, I wish I knew when it changed.

As a matter of fact, I think I’ll drive on over now and have myself another gyro. P.S it’s way better than the Athenian Taverna across the street. I found a new spot for my Tuesday night adventures.

Good food always. Service friendly just not speedy so give yourself so extra time.
