For years we have been going to Durigos, and their crab masala has been ever so mouth watering. Aad maas, is another rare specialty. Chonak, modso or rockfish in green rawa fry are equally delicious. Down this with a cool thumsup. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Durigo:
We called in for lunch with friends who had obviously visited many times before, I just found it very basic. The menu choice was tiny , the place had zero finery and I felt like I was eating in a car port. The restaurant has authentic Goan food and excellent pancakes and brownies for dessert. The restaurant has a nice ambience but no AC so you need to time your visit right.
Good food with vey simple Restaurant. I have never ever come place during the day and therefore will not be able to tell you if it is open during the day.'Hadache Maas' a Goan pork delicacy is prepared here. The portion size is small. This place is known for beef chilly fry, pork chilly fry. You can eat it with poi a sweetish fermented Goan bread.
If you want goan food then Durigo is the place to go. No ambience but simply great food. Their local pork preparations are a must try. Easy on the pocket too
The food here was good and it was very cheap. The portions are big so you only properly need one curry dish and rice dish for two people! Hence the meal we had came to around 600 rupees!
