Wendy's - Columbus
Wendy's
Description
This Wendy's delivers generally tasty, fresh fast food and features standout, friendly employees who elevate the experience. However, visits vary widely: inconsistent staffing, slow or cold orders, spotty cleanliness, and frustrating app and refund issues have left customers wary. Management communication can be unresponsive, and some reports raise food-safety concerns. For quick, affordable meals it's worth trying, but double-check orders and be cautious with late-night service or when seeking refunds.

It’s really not that hard to put the sauce in the bag. Ordered in the drive through and the food was cold, the order was incorrect, and the sauce was missing. Miserable experience.
At the time, there were no customers in the lobby, as the employees were busy mopping the floors and cleaning behind the deep fryer—clearly indicating that people are avoiding this place. I really wish I had known beforehand that I was about to be scammed. Unlike other food apps that prevent you from ordering unavailable items, the Wendy's app allows it, and unfortunately, there was no one available to speak to about the issue. The chat support was unavailable, and the 1-800 number closes at 5 pm. When I tried to reach out at 8 pm on a Friday, I had not received my order or a refund. Beware—there's a sketchy guy claiming to be the manager who told me he couldn't refund or substitute my order and insisted that I needed to resolve it through the app.
I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant; you'll likely get sick. The Wendy's up the road serves fresh food and has a line for a reason. There's probably no one waiting here because the food is spoiled. I believe the city should take action against this place, as I've experienced food poisoning every time I've visited since 2024.
