Located in the Short North area of Columbus, this restaurant offers a unique breakfast experience with familiar options but with a twist. The French toast made with housemade challah bread and caramelized bananas is a standout dish, along with the French omelette and pancakes. The smoked salmon benedict and blueberry lavender mimosa also received high praise. The breakfast menu features flavorful and well-prepared dishes, such as the steak and potatoes, while the lunch options, like the fish tacos, could use a bit more seasoning. The outdoor seating area provides a quiet escape from the busy main road, perfect for enjoying dishes like the Callah French toast with caramelized bananas. The service is friendly and attentive, although they may be a bit slow during busy times. Overall, this restaurant is a hidden gem in Columbus, with delicious food and a menu that shows dedicated effort.

Love this place! What I enjoy most is that it is owned and operated by POC. They are also heavily involved in the community. I love spending money where it is helping the most vulnerable in our society and knowing I'm helping them and their families gain wealth. Ok enough of my sociopolitical rant lol their food is also quite delicious! I order the potatoes every time. I tried their veggie hash which was ok. I got an iced coffee and French challah toast. You can sit inside or out. No air inside. It's a simple set up but very organized and clean. Staff are wonderful and they are pretty quick with food even when it is busy. It is in an ally in the Short North. So parking is tough. I live in the neighborhood so it isn't so bad. I tend to forget about it because it's hidden. Perfect place for vegetarians and vegans!!

I have lived in the short north area for the past 6 years and this was my first time checking out Tasi! I was really impressed with the space and was shocked that I've never seen it before! They have an impressive menu with lots of options, and everyone at my table really enjoyed their food! We got the Turkey club with fries, chicken panini, and breakfast burrito. Both sandwiches were really good, the bread was fresh and delicious and each sandwich had great toppings/flavor. The breakfast burrito was also really good. I have had breakfast burritos at other places with more toppings/salsa and this one was just meat, egg, and cheese. I appreciated that the burrito wasn't super tortilla-heavy, some places I feel like majority of the burrito is tortilla and didn't feel that with this one. I would order both items again but with how many delicious items they have on the menu I would probably try something different next time.

First time brunch experience with Tasi. I continue my search for the perfect brunch spot in downtown Columbus. Although this little spot has been here for years, I just heard about it a couple of weeks ago. This little spot has limited seating on a first come first serve situation. They do have a patio seating in front of the restaurant. I bet it is popular during the warmer weather. I was one of the first people to dine for the day but it got much more busy as I ate. They are known for this breakfast options but they do have some nice options for lunch and dinner. My Choice: I went with the following for my visit. Breakfast Burrito with potatoes Side of Sweet and Spicy Bacon (not very spicy...unfortunately) ****** Mary Coffee My bill total was $38.00! I thought the food was good. I would definitely come back. Nothing Wow 'd me. Having said that, there are a number of items I 'd like to try next time, like the French Toast and the breakfast sandwich. Overall the experience was good. Service was a little slow considering it wasn 't busy. My coffee arrive to the table soon enough but it took awhile to get cream and sugar brought to the table. I hated seeing my hot coffee going cold while I waited. I 'd recommend giving this a try. I 'm sure it will hit this spot!

We got very lucky when we visited this location because we were able to grab a seat right away. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the meal. My husband and I were visiting from Chicago and and expected way more from the $65 bill. We ordered theveggie wrap, blueberry pancakes and the bagel sandwich. The wrap was soggy, the eggs were over cooked and it lacked flavoroverall. The pancake batter was overworked which resulted in gummy pancakes and the bagel sandwich was lackluster for the price. It?s not worth the price, the wait (if there is one) or the search for street parking.

Getting seated at first was quite complicated. There was a sign in the front stating wait to be assisted. After being seated outside was served by not only one, but two different servers. Fairly quick service but they were packed for brunch thisSaturday. Food was very good though! Highly recommend the salmon Benedict. The other dish was the black bean patties and poachedegg. The bastad (toast) was very hard unfortunately. The mimosas, regular and hibiscus were both delicious!
